Job Description

  1. Food Safety and Quality Systems
    • Ensures that policies and procedures, customer requirements, specifications and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
    • Monitors compliance to the approved HACCP program to assure strict adherence to the plan.
    • Maintains quality assurance systems and process/product verification systems, including sampling procedures.
    • Implements Standard Operating Procedures and Work instructions.
  1. Critical Documents
    • Creates, collects and reviews of all necessary documents required by regulatory agencies and certifying bodies.
    • Prepares technical reports and make recommendations on critical items for final disposition.
  1. Consumer Complaints
    • Conducts product complaint investigation at plant level and observe operational efforts to emphasize controllable opportunities to improve product quality.
  1. Special Projects
    • Supports R&D on product commissioning and new product lines.
    • Evaluate functionality of test equipment and follow -ups request for capital appropriations of equipment needed.
  1. Product Quality
    • Conducts product and material reviews to ensure compliance to specifications.
    • Creates non- conformity report and ensures that corrective action and preventive action is implemented.
    • Reports any abnormalities observed and/or encountered on raw materials, in process, packaging materials, finished goods, equipment and the environment to the Quality Assurance Supervisor in a timely manner.
  1. Sensory Evaluation
    • Conducts finished product evaluation through sensory evaluation on every product per retort batch, seaming line and period produced before any product is unloaded for labeling and/or released for shipment.

Minimum Qualifications


  • At least one (1) year of overall professional experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or other industry management / specific discipline
  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent degree.
  • With formal training in Basic Food Safety (GMP, SSOP
  • Basic knowledge in HACCP and /or Food Safety Quality Management Systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and google applications. SAP for QA transactions.
  • Knowledge about Statistical Quality Control
  • Thermal Processing
  • Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies.
  • Willing to assigned in Bulan Sorsogon
