INGREDIENTS:
25 pieces dried taro root (dahon ng gabi)
2 Cans of Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili
3 cups grated coconut
2 cups water
1 big head of garlic (minced)
2 small onions (minced)
1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
2 pieces hot chili pepper (minced)
3 tablespoons oil

PROCEDURES:
1. Wash and clean the dried taro root (dahon ng gabi) and slice to 1 inch thin.
2. Extract the milk from the grated coconut and set aside.
3. In a pan, sauté the garlic, onion, ginger and Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili.
5. Add in the chili, pepper and dried taro root
6. Cook until the taro root softens.
7. Pour in the coconut milk. Cook until the oil comes out and the taro root is cooked.
8. Serve while hot.

INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp. soya oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar (Sukang Paombong)
1 tbsp. brown sugar / asukal na pula
1 can Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce
1/2 kilo of “labong” or bamboo shoots (equivalent to 4 cups)
1/2 cup water
Pinch of pepper and salt

PROCEDURES:
1. In a non-stick pan, sauté the garlic and onion in soya oil while the stove is in low heat. Add the Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
2. Set aside the sardines and half of the sauce.
3. In the same pan, add the bamboo shoots or “labong”, oyster sauce, vinegar, water and brown sugar. Slowly stir until the bamboo shoots are soft.
4. Once it boils, add salt and pepper to taste.
5. Plate and add the sardines and the remaining sauce.
6. Serve and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
For the noodles:
½ kg thick rice noodles or bihon noodles
Water

For the sauce:
150 g crab meat
150 g crab fat (aligue)
2 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce, separate the sauce from sardines, (sardines should be flaked, 1 can for sauce mixing and 1 can for toppings)
3 tbsp annatto powder or atsuete
Fish sauce
4 tbsp cornstarch
4-5 cups water
4 cloves garlic
1 red onion, minced
Cooking oil

For the toppings:
Shrimps, with skin on
Squid, sliced into rings
Mussels, with shell on
Mega Sardines, flaked
Pork crackling (chicharon), crushed
Spring onions, chopped
Hard boiled eggs, sliced
Fried garlic
Lemon, sliced

PROCEDURES:
1. Cook the rice noodles in boiling water. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
2. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add the shrimps, mussels and squid. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
3. Remove the shell from the shrimps and set the meat the aside. Chop the shells from the shrimp until the juice comes out.
4. Remove the shell from the mussels and set aside as well.
5. In a blender, mix together crab meat, crab fat, boiling water, annatto powder, fish sauce and blend for 1 minute. Remove from the blender and set aside.
6. In another pan, sauté garlic and onion. Add in the crab meat mixture and the flaked sardines.
7. In a medium sized bowl, mix together cornstarch and water. Stir until lumps disappear. Add into the crab meat mixture in the pan. Let it simmer until sauce thickens. Add a bit of water if needed. Bring it to a boil and remove from pan.
8. Pour in onto the top of the cooked rice noodles. Add the seafoods, pork crackling, spring onions, egg, flaked Mega Sardines and fried garlic.
9. Add a few drops of calamansi juice and serve!

INGREDIENTS:
Cooking oil
Onion
Tomatoes
Garlic
Pako (edible fern)
Fish sauce
Water
1 can Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce

PROCEDURES:
1. In a pan, pour cooking oil and sauté garlic and onion.
2. Then add the tomatoes.
3. Add the Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce.
4. Add a bit of water, fish sauce and bring to a boil. Then add in the edible ferns or “pako”. Bring to a boil until ferns soften.
5. Place in a bowl and serve with hot steaming rice.

INGREDIENTS:
5 pcs. bread rolls
2 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili 155g, flaked  
5 pcs. small eggs
1 cup grated cheese

PROCEDURES:
1. Using a sharp knife cut the top portion of the bread roll, and set this aside. Press down the inside part of the bread, until it looks like a small bowl. Repeat procedure for the rest of the rolls.
2. Place 2 tbsps. of flaked Mega Sardines inside the bread roll.
3. Place the egg on top of the flaked sardines and top it with grated cheese.
4. Put back the top portion of the bread and wrap the whole bread in aluminum foil. Repeat procedure for the rest of the rolls.
5. Place them into a preheated 200 degrees Celcius oven for 20 minutes or until egg has set.
6. Add some cheese on top. Add salt and pepper if you wish.

INGREDIENTS:

½ kg Langka (Jackfruit), sliced
1 can Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili

1 glass of undiluted coconut milk, 1st extraction
2 glasses of coconut milk
Ginger, sliced
Onion
Red chili (optional)
Chili pepper
Salt to taste

PROCEDURES:
1. Pour in 2 glasses of coconut milk in a pot.
2. Then add in the onion, ginger, langka (jackfruit) and salt.
3. Let it simmer in medium heat until langka (jackfruit) softens. When it is soft enough, pour in 1 glass of undiluted coconut milk. Let it boil.
5. Add in Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce and Chili.
6. Add red chili or chili pepper depending on the level of spiciness that you like.

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 part of medium sized squash (kalabasa) , cut into thin squares so it can be easily cooked.
1/4 cup malunggay leaves, washed
1 medium red onion
3 tbsp bagoong isda
1 can Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce
2 1/2 cups water
2 tbsps cooking oil

PROCEDURES:
1. Saute the onion until cooked.
2. Then add the sliced squash and sauté for about 2 minutes.
3. Add 1 can of Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce and mix.
4. Pour in 2 ½ cups water. Cover the pot and bring it to a boil for about 10- 15 minutes.
5. Then add in the fish paste (bagoong isda), malunggay and let it simmer for about 7 minutes.
6. Serve and Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
2 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili, sauce not included
3 sachet ebi shrimp
200g pancit canton noodles
1 pack sotanghon, noodles soaked in water
2 cups water
½ cabbage small chopped
1 carrot sliced
1 cup baguio beans sliced
1 red bell pepper slice
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic minced
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Green onions
Calamansi

PROCEDURES:
1. Saute onion and garlic and add in Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili.
2. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, ebi shrimp, salt and pepper. Add water and let it simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Add the cabbage, carrots, baguio beans, bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Then add the canton noodles and let it cook for 1 minute.
5. Then add the sotanghon noodles and mix. Cook for about 3 minutes or until water is gone.
6. Top with green onions and calamansi. Serve and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
1 can Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili 155g, drained (reserve sauce for later use)
2 salted eggs
3 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 whole egg
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt to taste

PROCEDURES:
1. Drain Mega Sardines and reserve sauce for later use.
2. Mix flour and eggs in a bowl. Dip in the sardines in the mixture and make sure each is well-covered.
3. Deep fry the breaded sardines until golden brown.
4. Prepare the sauce. Saute garlic and onion, then pour in the sardines’ sauce. Add the salted eggs and let it simmer for a few minutes.
5. Pour in the sauce on top of the breaded sardines and serve.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 cup water
1 pc egg
1/4 cup grated cheese
1/2 tsp ground pepper
2 pcs. bay leaf
1 pc. onion, minced
1 can of Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili 155g, drained (reserve the sauce for later use)
1/4 kilo cabbage, shredded
2 stalks of leeks, cut
Oil for frying

PROCEDURES:
For the batter:
1. In a medium-sized bowl, put the flour, salt and sugar and mix it.
2. Create a well in middle of the flour. Add the egg and mix it.
3. Add 1/2 cup of water. Mix it until the flour is dissolved.
4. Set aside for later use.

For the sauce:
1. In a small pan, heat the reserved Mega Sardines sauce.
2. Add the grated cheese and season with salt and pepper. Then, add the bay leaf.
3. Let it simmer until sauce is thick. Transfer it a nice bowl.

For the pancake:
1. In a medium frying pan, saute the onion, then add the drained Mega Sardines.
2. Add the cabbage and leeks and cook until soft.
3. Mix the cooked Mega Sardines and veggies with the batter.
4. Fry it by batch like an ordinary pancake.
5. Serve hot with sauce on the side.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce 155g, drained
1 cup bread crumbs
4 whole eggs
1 pc. carrots, minced
1 pc. red bell pepper, minced
2 pcs. onion, minced
4 pcs. garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
1/2 cup grated cheese
225g raisins
Salt and pepper

Aluminum foil, 10″ × 12″ sizes

PROCEDURES:
1. Place the drained Mega Sardines in a large bowl.
2. Add the bread crumbs then the eggs and mix well.
3. Add in the carrots, red bell pepper, onion, garlic, sweet pickle relish, and grated cheese. Mix thoroughly.
4. Add the raisins, salt and pepper then mix well.
5. Place the mixture in an aluminum foil and flatten it.
6. Roll the foil to form a cylinder. Once done, lock the edges of the foil.
7. Place in a steamer and cook for 45 minutes. Then let it cool down.
8. Place inside the refrigerator until cold.
9. Slice and serve. Share and Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
2 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce 155g, drained and flaked
1 large carrot, finely chopped
2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped
1 large egg
2 tbsps. spring onions, chopped
A pinch of salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
1 pack Won Ton wrapper
Water for steaming

PROCEDURES:
1. In a bowl, mix the flaked Mega Sardines, carrots, onions, egg, 1 ½ tbsps. spring onions, salt and pepper.
2. Wrap mixture with Won Ton wrapper, placing about 1 tablespoon in each wrapper.
3. Using a steamer, steam the wrapped Mega Sardines Siomai for about 25-30 minutes.
4. Top with the remaining spring onions.
5. Serve with soy sauce, chili and calamansi dip.

INGREDIENTS:
For the filling:
2 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce 155g (sauce set aside)
3 tbsp. carrots, chopped
2 tbsp. singkamas, chopped
1 tbsp. onion, chopped
1 tsp. kinchay, minced

For the wrapper:
10 pcs. lumpia wrapper
1 cup cooking oil

For the dip:
5 cloves of garlic
5 tbsp. of catsup
1 tbsp. of vinegar
1 tbsp. of sugar
Dash of salt and pepper

PROCEDURES:
For the shanghai:
1. In a bowl, mix the all the ingredients of the shanghai filling.
2. Prepare the lumpia wrapper.
3. Wrap shanghai fillings with lumpia wrapper and deep fry until golden brown.
4. Cut into desired length and serve.

For the dip:
Mix the dipping ingredients in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

1 tbsp. onion, chopped

2 cups of water
1/4 kilo of misua
Pinch of salt and a dash of seasoning
1 tbsp. kinchay, pinched

PROCEDURES:
1. Saute garlic and onion.
2. Add in two (2) 155g of Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce. Let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add in 2 cups of water and wait until it boils.
3. Add the misua and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add salt and season to taste.
4. Sprinkle some pinched kinchay on top and serve hot.

1/2 cup potatoes, chopped
1/2 cup carrots

1/2 cup cheese
1/4 cup celery
1/4 cup pickles
Salt and pepper to taste

PROCEDURES:
1. Saute onion and garlic in hot oil.
2. Add potatoes and carrots.
3. Pour in the Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili and let the mixture simmer.
4. Add the olives and cheese.
5. Put celery and pickles, then salt and pepper to taste.
6. Let it simmer for a few more minutes and serve hot.

Spaghetti ala Mega Sardines

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 kilo pasta (spaghetti, fettuccini or macaroni)
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. butter
1 head garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
3 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce 155g
1 can button mushroom, sliced
1 small can all purpose cream
1 cup pasta broth
1 small can cream of mushroom
Dash of preferred spice
Salt and pepper to taste
3 eggs, scrambled
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 bar butter, flaked
1/2 cup grated cheese

PROCEDURES:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
2. Prepare the sauce. Saute garlic and onion in butter oil combination. Add 3 cans of Mega Sardines, 1 can of sliced button mushroom, 1 can all purpose cream, 1 cup pasta broth and 1 can cream of mushroom. Season with preferred spice (rosemary, basil, Italian seasoning or pinch of curry). Then, season with salt and pepper.
3. Arrange cooked pasta in baking dish. Pour the sauce.
4. Pour 3 scrambled eggs on top followed by chopped red and green pepper, flaked butter and grated cheese. Bake just to melt cheese.
5. Serve with buttered toast.
